This product is 'simply wonderful'! It cooks turkey, chicken, roast, potatoes, even burgers and fish. My friend purchased one and I made him bring it to my parties and I just had to get my own. No clean-up, no oil to buy, food cooks quickly AND the taste is incredible. I am cooking just about everything I can in it and I even get some credit for helping do the cooking now, with beer in hand.

I asked my coworkers one day if any of them had a turkey fryer. One of them got real excited about NOT buying an oil fryer and that I should really buy this "Big Easy" oiless fryer. Like most people, I assumed the taste would not be as good as an oil fryer, more on that later. So he began to become really excited (and he's not an excitable fella) about the benefits of not having to purchase $50 worth of oil to fry a single turkey and not to mention, the danger and disposal of the oil. So I was convinced that this was the way to go and I purchased it here with free shipping. I took this out to our beach camping event and we cooked Mexican churros in this and it worked flawlessly. The grate holes were a little too big, but we managed. Later, I cooked a 3.0lb chicken in it.

I got a little impatient and put the probe in there one too many times, but it got up to 160F when I pulled it out. But i put it back in b/because I wanted to get the skin crispy and brown. So I put the mesh lid on for about 5 minutes and the skin got brown and crispy. We took it out and ate it. Wow, it was really, really good! What also helped was that my coworker was kind enough to buy me Lawry's seasoning salt for beef and chicken. Of course we used the chicken, and it was really, really tasty. I cannot say enough about how easy this is to use. I'll probably buy another grate so i can double deck/cook two chickens too. My mind is turning like crazy thinking about all the great things I can good in this.

This is the greatest product of all. I have both the oil cooker and now the oil-less infrared turkey fryer. I won't be using the oil fryer anymore now. No oil to dispose of or oil fire to worry about, and the turkey was just as moist and good tasting. It cooked a 15lb turkey in about three hours and with no clean up! I would recommend the wireless pager also, I set it and go in the house and wait for the alarm to buzz. We also have the extra hanging basket that we cook potatoes and corn in.

We have used the fryer for three tukeys a chicken and Christmas we are going to cook a prime rib in it. The temperature here has been below zero and it doesn't seem to effect the cooking time very much at all. Being a oil based turkey frier I didn't know how this would work but turkey taste a little different than deep fried but was still fantastic and moist. Seasoned the same as deep fried for comparison purposes. Also did a 5lb primer rib which came out great also.
